Terms of use

Conditions and practical limitations for using PasswordCraft’s free security utilities.

Using these tools

You may use PasswordCraft for lawful personal or commercial credential generation. You are responsible for saving your credentials securely and meeting the password rules of the service you use.

Limits and availability

Tools are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or protection from account compromise. Strength estimates are approximations, not promises about cracking time. Device malware, phishing, reuse, insecure recovery, and service breaches can defeat even strong passwords.

Your responsibilities

Keep your browser updated, use HTTPS, verify the website address, and use a password manager. Do not enter passwords into an untrusted device. Do not use a short PIN where an unrestricted attacker can guess repeatedly.

Third-party materials

Passphrase words come from the Electronic Frontier Foundation’s long wordlist, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. Strength estimates use the open-source zxcvbn library. These organizations do not endorse PasswordCraft.
